The Apothecary welcomes you to join us on an adventure that will combine your powers of words and worlds and our scented spells in a duet to captivate the hearts of readers in New Zealand.
Adventurer's Apothecary is looking for kiwi indie authors to embark on this campaign with us!
WHAT IS THIS ADVENTURE YOU SPEAK OF, FAIRE APOTHECARY?
The adventure is simple. A delightfully mysterious bundle of reader's joy to help them escape reality. Muggles call this magic a 'Blind Date with a Book'.
But we want to craft a uniquely beautiful bundle for our fellow wayward travellers to the fantasy realms and work with you to do so.
HOW DOES THIS MAGIC BLIND DATE BUNDLE WORK?
Each bundle looks the same; the only information readers will have is the genre, leading tropes and the level of spice to choose from. The fates will do the rest, guiding them to a new and exciting adventure for them to embark on, with the tools that they may need to enjoy their date with destiny.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN ADVENTURE COMPANIONS?
Indie published authors from or based in New Zealand who want to reach new readers in an exciting and fun way.
Genre of the story is:

- ... or something along the lines of these.
PLEASE NOTE: if your story is not within these genres but you, too, are a kiwi indie writer who wishes join the adventure, please feel free to contact us and we will work something out for you.
WHAT WILL THIS MAGIC BOX OF MYSTERY INCLUDE?
Our Blind Date combo will include:
- A mystery book from an indie author.
- A handcrafted 90g apothecary-style candle crafted by the Apothecary, with your choice of a pre-existing scent chosen by us to fit your book, a pre-existing scent of your choice or a speciality-blended scent crafted for you and your book alone (these speciality candles will not be available to purchase as a standalone product on the main website, but may be added to an authors collaboration collection at a later date with your express permission).
- A tea blend from a unique brand (to be determined at a later date).
- A selection of reader's accessories for their tracking needs.
